Vaccine for Cholera

Cholera is a serious bacterial infection caused by Vibrio cholerae, most often spread through contaminated food or water in areas with poor sanitation. It causes sudden, severe watery diarrhea and can lead to dangerous dehydration if not treated promptly. While most cases are mild, severe infections can be life-threatening without rapid rehydration. Cholera is most common in parts of Africa and Asia. 

The vaccine can offer an added layer of protection, especially for travellers at higher risk.
